ELIGIBILTY CONDITION

FOR TGT NON MEDICAL
a)    B.sc (NM) with 50% marks and one year B.ED.  
b)    B.sc(NM) with 45% marks and one year B.ED
c)    10+2 with 50 marks and four year B.EI.ED. 
d)    10+2 with 50% and four year B.sc (NM)/ED. 
e)    B.sc (NM) with 50% and one year B.ED special Education.

FOR TGT MEDICAL: 
a)    B.sc Medical with 50% marks and one year B.ED. 
b)    B.sc Medical with 45% and one year B.ED.
c)    10+2 with 50% and four year B.EI.ED 
d)    10+2 with 50% and four year B.sc Medical/ED 
e)    B.sc Medical with 50% marks and one year B.ED in special Education
FOR SHASTRI
Shastri with50% marks
FOR LANGUAGE TEACHER:
B.A with Hindi as an elective subject with 50% marks
                               Or
Passed Prabhakar (Honours in Hindi) and B.A Exam in English and one additional subject may be treated as equivalent to B.A with Hindi
                                Or
M.A Hindi with 50% marks

RELAXATIONS- 
  • Relaxation of 50% in qualifying marks allowed to scheduled cast and scheduled Tribes 
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks- 60% 
  • Validity- TET certificate is valid for 7 years person who has qualified TET can also appear for improving his/her score. 
  • Applicability- TET is applicable to Himachal Pradesh State Government and Government aided and non medical schools.
SRUCTURE OF TET FOR TGT’S:
  • Number of Questions= 150 questions carrying one marks each
  • Duration= 1:30 hours
  • Type of Question= MCQ
  • Negative marking =NO

Section I and II common for TGT (Arts, Non- Medical and Medical)
  • Section I – Questions 1 to 30 Child psychology, Pedagogy and teaching learning process
  • Section II – Question 31 to 60 General awareness including H.P current affairs, EVS
Sections III and IV for TGT Arts
  • Section III- questions 61 to 90 Eng. Literatures and Grammar
  • Section IV – Question 91 to 150 SST
Section III and IV for TGT (NM)
  • Section III- Question 61 to 90 Maths
  • Section IV – Question 91 to 150 Physics and Chemistry
Section III and IV for TGT Medical
  • Section III – Question 61 to 120 Botany and Zoology
  • Section IV – Question 121 to150 Chemistry
STRUCTURE OF TET FOR LANGUAGE TEACHERS
  • No of questions = 150
  • Duration= 1:30 hours
  •  Type of questions = MCQ
  • Negative marking = no
  • Sections of papers= section question 1 to 120 on Hindi
  • Section II Question 121 to 150 General Awareness , Current Affairs and EVS
